President's Message: Randall Glenn, DMD
Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to serve you as your President. We have had an exciting year. Our previous vice-president, Dr. Ken Wiltbank put together a wonderful continuing education schedule for this past year. We had medical emergencies and risk management to name a few. You will notice that all CCDS members were able to attend all meetings this year at the same fee. There were no additional expenditures on your part to attend those meetings. I felt that a lowered attendance fee for special CE should be a benefit to our members. It turned out so well that we actually did not have enough room for all members and nonmembers who wanted to attend.

On Thursday, April 23rd I attended the 1st Annual Open House at the newly opened Clackamas Community College Harmony Campus in representation of CCDS. Representatives from all six programs housed at this campus; which include Clinical Laboratory Assistant, Dental Assistant, Emergency Medical Technology, Medical Assistant, Nursing and Nursing Assistant were present to give tours and answer questions. Trustee’s Report

The annual combined ODA Board of Trustee and ODS Board Directors meeting took place May 8 - 9 at Mount Bachelor Village Resort in Bend, Oregon. The purpose of the combined meeting is to have board members of each organization get to know each other better in an informal setting. On Friday morning each organization held separate meetings.
